Situated at the foot of the Langeberg mountains, off the R60 between Ashton and Swellendam, Bonfrutti offers country living on a fruit, wine and sheep farm, with oodles of fresh country air and a clear mountain stream, topped off with comfortable self-catering accommodation.

There is plenty of activity to fill a weekend. Start by heading up the kloof to a waterfall, keep an eye out for a surprising variety of birds or swim in the farm dam. Alternatively, pack a picnic (or order at the farm stall) and hike to a picnic spot. You can also fill the afternoon with mountain biking, a 4x4 trip or try your luck at fishing.

Finally, end the day as you started it, stoepsitting ... while you experience the canvas of the sky and breathtaking views of the mountain.

Bonfrutti's farm stall is stocked up with jams, meat, rusks, dried fruit, olive oil, wood, ice, biltong, cooldrinks and a host of other treats including breakfast and light lunches. Fresh fruit is available in season. We also stock the whole range of wines from Bonnievale Cellar at cellar prices.
