Clairvaux Cellar is situated along the R60 (R62) where it enters Robertson from Worcester. Wouter de Wet bought the cellar in 2000 and, with the help of experts, he transformed his newly acquired property into a modern cellar to produce top wines. All Clairvaux grapes are produced at the farms of Mr. De Wet and cultivars include Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Only the best grapes are handpicked. Pieter van Aarde is the wine-maker. Madonna’s Kisses won a golden award at Michelangelo International Wine Awards in 2003.
